The basic Standart package includes six airbags, ABS and ESP, diode headlights, light sensor, front and rear electric windows, electrically folding side mirrors, dual-zone climate control, fabric seat upholstery, standard music with six speakers and 16-inch wheels. The Standart Plus variant is completed with rain sensor, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors, as well as a rearview camera, cruise control and a 7.0-inch multimedia screen.
The Classic version features leather upholstery and 8-way electric adjustments for the driver's seat. Elegance features keyless entry and push-button start, projection display, heated steering wheel and rear sofa, heated windscreen and windscreen washer jets, nine-speaker audio system with subwoofer, wireless charging, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Prestige version features fully LED front and rear lights, cabin air ionizer, enlarged to 7.0″ colour screen on the dashboard (instead of 4.2″), premium JBL audio system, 8.0″ multimedia system display, and 18″ wheels. The Luxe version has three-zone climate control, a power rear window sunblind, plus controls for the audio system, heated rear seats, climate control, and rear seat adjustment for rear passengers appear on the second row here. Toyota Camry Executive boasts all-round-view cameras, electric tilt and extend adjustment of steering column and memory of driver's seat, mirrors and steering column in two positions. Second-generation Safety Sense package includes a system of automatic switching of high beam to low beam, the function of driver fatigue monitoring, road sign detection, cruise control with distance control to the vehicle in front, as well as systems for tracking unintentional crossing the markings with lane recovery function and prevention of frontal collisions with pedestrian detection.
From the side, the model draws attention with a new wheel design, with the base now featuring 17-inch wheels (previously 16″) and the palette of available colours being complemented by red and blue and metallics. The car's skeleton remains the same. We should separately note the appearance of Toyota Camry GR Sport, which has come to replace S-Edition. This modification is distinguished by black roof, transparent diffusers of rear lights, two-tone or black disks, and external decor, including spoiler on boot lid, diffuser, overlays on doors, etc. Inside the Toyota Camry 2022 after restyling, the key new feature is the revised layout of the multimedia system display. In pre-reformed cars, it was located under the central air deflectors, but now it is a tablet sticking out from above. The base screen is still 7.0″, and expensive versions get 9.0″ (+ 1.0). Plus, the sedan has been given an advanced version of the "Safety Sense" complex, whose automatic braking system has learned to recognize pedestrians and cyclists not only ahead, but also on perpendicular courses, which can be useful when turning. But the virtual dashboard of the version for the European market didn't get. According to previously published GTC, the new Toyota Camry V70 was offered in Europe with a seriously revised powertrain line-up unified with the crossover RAV4. In particular, Japanese have refused the former 2,0-liter atmospheric engine 6AR-FSE in favour of the engine M20A-FKS of similar volume. The latter has a combined fuel injection, but compression ratio was increased from 12.7:1 to 13:1. The unit can run on AI-91. The output of this motor is still 150 hp, while the torque reaches 206 Nm (+ 14). Maximum traction is possible at 4,400 rpm (- 300). Runs the base engine in tandem with a Direct Shift V-belt variator with a "manual" first gear (previously there was a six-speed automatic). Acceleration to a hundred reduced from 11.0 to 9.5 seconds, but the maximum speed has remained at the same level of 210 km/h.
Combined injection replaces distributed injection and the compression ratio is increased from 10.4:1 to 13:1. The new engine delivers 200 bhp (+19) and 243 Nm of torque. We shall note that earlier all-wheel-drive modification became available for Toyota Camry V70 on the North American market, but we are not planning to deliver such a version.
