- I've been driving a two-litre Camry for two years. To tell you the truth, it's the best car I've ever owned.

 

On the whole, there are absolutely no flaws on the technical side. The car is reliable, 200 thousand on it can be driven without any problems. If using it with care the only thing you will have to replace at 100 thsd. km is stabilizer plugs. I emphasize, the bushings. You may not even have to replace struts.

 

The only essential disadvantage of Camry is a body. A weak point is a bonnet. Pebbles fly in, the paint chips off, and decay forms on these places. Sides of seats also fail, they get eaten away at 40 thousandths. It looks quite untidy, and something has to be done about it.

- The car is fire. I have been using the car for eight years. I bought it in 2012 when it was still new. For the highway, the best thing: comfortable, spacious and very fast. Build quality, however, leaves much to be desired, with time there are "crickets".

- I bought a two year old Camry from a pensioner who hardly ever drove it. So, you could say you bought a practically new car. At the time of purchase the mileage was 7,000 km. Impressions are only positive: a very comfortable and soft car. Everything is made for convenience.

 

I had a rich package with leather interior, and what I liked very much - with heated rear row of seats. I had 150 bhp, which was good enough. There are also options with 180 horsepower engine, but it is for those who like fast driving.

 

When I bought it I was afraid that because of small ground clearance there would be some discomfort, but no: I rode comfortably. The suspension turned out to be high enough, so there were no problems with it. At least if you compare it with Mazda 6 which I had before, the difference is felt: there I was constantly scraping the bottom.

 

The only thing I personally lacked was stiffness in steering. The car is quite wobbly, so when going into a corner at speed you need to control that momentum. Considering that I have hardly driven 50 thou km, I can't speak about technical defects, because I haven't repaired anything, I just replaced consumables.

So, judging from the reviews, the Camry XV50 is indeed reliable and durable, but not without weaknesses. The body is not too resistant to corrosion, and you can get "crickets" in the interior, which is unacceptable for a business class. However, these lacks are compensated by inexpensive service and unpretentiousness of a car.

 

It will be difficult to find a "pure" copy on the second-hand market. According to avtocod.ru statistics, only every fifteenth car is sold without problems! Every other Camry XV50 is sold as used, every fourth is leased or with unpaid fines, every sixth has twisted mileage. There are also Camry XV50s that have been impaired by the traffic police, are in pawn and have been taxied.
