The Toyota Camry XV70 is another hit in the business segment from the Japanese manufacturer on the market. The car has come to be appreciated thanks to its stylish design, rich equipment and new platform, which is qualitatively different from the previous one. But it turned out that not everything is perfect in new Camry, and it is still inferior to its predecessor in a number of parameters, and the N5E team will tell you about them below. So, let's see.
1. Driving comfort
The new Toyota Camry XV70 is based on the modular TNGA platform. The developers have redesigned kinematics of suspensions, established new shock absorbers, anti-roll bar and springs, as well as recalibrated the power steering. All these innovations have had a positive effect on the handling of the model, but it has lost in ride comfort.
In particular the car began to react more painfully to small irregularities, informing the passengers about them with a noticeable shaking. At the same time there are jolts on large bumps, which also does not contribute to high smoothness of ride.

Secondly, the motors received stricter environmental collar - instead of Euro-4 now Euro-5 and it significantly affected the dynamic performance of Japanese sedan, although the economy has improved.
4. Higher performance quality
The former model distinguished itself, strangely enough, by better assembly and attention to detail, as well as the overall quality of workmanship. In particular, in the initial stages of production, it revealed a minimum of childhood diseases, which can not fail to praise.
